Thanks for doing this trib for Chris Bailey. One of those guys that should have been much bigger. Only got to see The Saints once, about 10 or 15 years ago when they played through here. Chris was friendly and up to signing autographs. And a Great show.

Chris Bailey/The Saints; the rare artist that needs this kind of in-depth tribute. Thanks for putting it together, Renny!

Has any punk band incorporated horns better than The Saints on Eternally Yours? Yeah, yeah....Rocket From The Crypt comes close.

Thanks for not deleting it, just me. Deejays are notoriously insecure people. All comments are welcome.

You, Whatwave Dave, are the exact opposite. I know every damn show you do is amazing. One day they are going to put you on a stamp for what you've done for GOOD Canadian music.

When I heard about Chris Bailey's death, I gathered all my Saints & Chris Bailey recordings together and listened to them in order.....While drinking far too many vodka tonics......I drank Swedish vodka and the only reason I drank vodka was to drive the prices up for the Russians, the dirty vodka swilling swine that they are.

That Dizzy Miss Lizzy (which I knew from The Beatles) is utterly fine!

"His Unitar" is definitely worth looking up. From my first hit: "Willie Joe bringing us a wild solo on the unitar! The unitar was "made from a 7-foot plank of wood, it was strung with a solitary piece of wire with a playable scale length of more than 4 and a half feet and wired with a DeArmond acoustic guitar pickup." "

That *Port of Amsterdam* is an unusual cover: the Jacques Brel original is, unsurprisingly, in French. A good translation.

Tuning in one day late. Cool to learn about The Saints. Your knowledge of rock n roll is encyclopedic.

Too bad "A Little Madness To Be Free" doesn't seem to be on Spotify

Johnny Loan, you gotta be joshin' me....Encyclopedic? Nah, I'm dumb and as uniformed as a post when it comes to music. Listen to Volume, Contrast, Brilliance on Saturday nights at 6 or Ian Jeans next week. My knowledge of music is Wikepediac at best.

Great show Renny! I added a link to it on the 16Apr22 Volume, Contrast, Brilliance playlist. Cheers
