Today on First Crush, we hear from Ottawa-via-Halifax punk singer-songwriter Matty Grace. Grace is a prolific songwriter and musician, known for playing in east coast bands Future Girls and Cluttered, and most recently as the front woman of Ottawa's Crisis Party.
Earlier this month, Grace released her debut full-length Cheap Shame via Dirt Cult Records. Today, she chats with First Crush about the liberation that comes with going solo and her sound that she describes as "heart-on-sleeve-depressive-disorder punk."
