The duo, featuring community organizers and DJs/sound artists Lougien Dawoudiah and Nicholas LePage, creates abstracted soundscapes rooted in Palestinian traditional sounds and field recordings. Ahead of their debut performance at the upcoming edition of Pique on September 28th, Zoë chats with Lougien and Nicholas about the solidarity at the core of their sonic dialogs and how the Deep Listening format of the project was inspired by the University of Ottawa student encampment.
