Christopher Rohde joins the Movie Mondays team in the studio today to talk all about the Mirror Mountain Film Festival, Ottawa's very best in independent and alternative cinema. Mike and Chris take a deep dive into some of the highlights of the festival such as a Crowdfunding panel, the enigmatic and awe inspiring Hotel Dallas (2016), and This May Be the Last Time (2013) a documentary that combines a true crime murder-mystery with the musical heritage of the first nations peoples. With a huge array of shorts in every genre from all over the world there is something for everyone: sci-fi, drama, local shorts, documentary and more. Make sure you stick around Saturday Night (10 PM!) for the Strange Hours where you could see just about anything. There are some technical difficulties and Josh is very quiet, we apologize.
