| This pious concept album sees David Axelrod write and arrange the material to be played by the Electric Prunes. With things running overbudget and the band not able to pull off the complex compositions, studio players where brought in to finish the recording. (Allegedly and) Interestingly enough, among the session musicians was the Canadian band The Collectors, claiming Bill Henderson as guitarist. Canadian classic rock aficionados will recognise Henderson as the frontman for the yet to come Chilliwack! |
