| This Sunday, April 3rd, comedic legend Bill Burr will be performing here in Ottawa at TD Place. Over the years, Burr's career as a stand-up comic has skyrocketed, developing a huge international following that reaches out to places like Iceland and India. A while ago on this show, I played a half hour set of Burr's from 2001, since then he has gone on to develop hilarious hours of stand-up in where he pokes holes in the logic of our modern society.
Apart from stand-up, he has also been on numerous TV shows such as Chappelle's Show, Breaking Bad, and was a regular contributor on the radio program The Opie and Anthony Show, which also lead to his own spin-off show called "Uninformed" which he co-hosted with fellow comedian Joe DeRosa. Bill now hosts his own podcast called "The Monday Morning Podcast" where he rants about whatever is on his mind. The podcast has amassed a large following around the world, much like his stand-up specials on Netflix. He is also the co-creator, star, writer of the Netflix animated series "F Is For Family" which also stars Justin Long, Laura Dern, and Sam Rockwell.
