From 1972, "Zeit" is the most out-there piece of space exploration music ever recorded by Tangerine Dream, and that is saying something. This track features Moog synthesizer from Florian Fricke of Popol Vuh as well as cello parts recorded by members of the group Hoelderlin. Static, abstract, ethereal, dark, beautiful music. |

From 2018, "Sessions III" is the third in a four part series (so far) of live performances by the Quantum Years iteration of the group, Thorsten Quaeschning, Ulrich Schnauss, and Himiko Yamane. This piece was recorded at the Synaesthesie III Festival Berlin on the 19th of November, 2017. It is a very active and engaging performance, heavy on sequencing and with a fantastic romantic colouring added by Yamane's violin. |
