| Toubabou was formed to play the Superfrancofete festival on the Plains of Abraham in 1974. They performed with a number of West African musicians and the live album Le Blé et le Mil was released. They followed with the studio album Attente the following year. The music's African influences come through predominantly in the percussion of Michel Seguin (whose solo album I played in December). |
