Neil, Drake's Grateful Dad
I just realized that you will be unable to sign Drake's memorial card, Dick. Like me, he was a huge fan of your shows the past few years. I am framing it for my wall to honour Drake and all of the hosts/curators he loved t listen to on CKCU. The Mighty is always on in our home. I have been playing The Accidentals acoustic version of "Someday We Won't Live Here Anymore" a lot lately to remind me of what once was and no longer is.

And thank you for your thoughts. CKCU has gotten Drake and I both through a challenging year and through good times and dark times. All of you continue to make getting up in the morning worthwhile. The relationships that we made with many curators on air are my rock and are cherished, Dick I can never thank my "possee" enough for your support and genuine friendship. The CKCIU Team is The Real Deal, brouther !

Neil, Thanks for the kind words. It is so heartening to hear how much CKCU means to our listeners. It takes a multitude to keep this thing running 24/7/365 for nearly 50 years. It truly is the connection to our community that ensures it happens and most importantly makes it worthwhile. During this difficult time please remember: There is no grief without love.

TV, computers, internet etc are a scourge on people and relationships. Radio reaches out and touches people. It is a power for the people and the community with endless potential for renewal. Radio grounds folks and creates limitless opportunities for change and growth. The Mighty is chock full of heroes, buddy !!
