Welcome To My World
Tuesday April 3rd, 2018 with Shelley Ann Morris (Ray and Kim on the phone)
Happy Birthday Edition and something from one of a CKCU alumni

Shelley Ann is LIVE today! Kim and Ray will join us on the phone for a chat as the strike at Carleton U drags on into a fifth week. We would like to thank you for your patience as we try to work around the logistical concerns brought about by the labour dispute. Tony and L-A Copple (hosts of Window of Opportunity, Over My Head and other shows) are now working as missionaries in South Africa. They host a weekly radio show each Thursday, and later on demand: Recently, Tony interviewed Andre van Deventer who is deaf/blind, and shared this interview with me. We will also have some special songs in honour of Kim's birthday and Shelley's Dad's birthday, too. It's Jazz Appreciation Month, so a lot of the music will be jazz-inspired.

That opening track from Ella Fitzgerald "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered" was so amazing. I can't believe I had not heard it before now. Thank you for playing it!
