What to do when Christmas isn't so 'Merry'

Kim and Shelley are joined by their friend, Rev. David Greene. We will talk about what to do when Christmas isn't so 'merry.' For some, especially those who have just had a loss or setback, this time of year may not be so joyous. There are things that can be done and resources that can be called upon to help. We do hope that this show will be helpful. The Community Information Centre is a great place to go should you require information about where to get assistance: www.cominfo-ottawa.org/ Call 211 _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The following information was 'borrowed' from Just Cause, an excellent show heard alternate Thursday mornings 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. with host Jeff Larocque: If you need help, or are feeling stressed/anxious over the holiday season (or anytime), please reach out to the Ottawa Distress Centre. This topic was well-covered today and there are all kinds of losses that people experience which can make the holidays difficult. Great advice Rev. Greene and thank you for taking the time to talk about it. Merry Christmas to all of you!
