Tuesday May 2nd, 2017 with Kim Kilpatrick and Shelley Ann Morris
Disability need not stop you from helping others.

On today's show, our guest, Pierre Castagner shares his story. Despite losing his vision, Pierre has gone on to volunteer extensively in his community. He is an active volunteer in many organizations, and helps others who are also facing vision loss. Special guest Saj will also be along to tell us about how he is volunteering to teach others how to use technology, and Ray Barfitt will be along to share his weekly Ray's Pick.

Hi Shelley I first started volunteering Myself back in 1987 working at the Ottawa Boys & Girls Club in Vanier while working at the Loeb Center on Donald St it was a great time for Me but it was a summertime job really in 1987 then from 1991 to 1996 for 5 years at CKCU FM & from 1997 to 2002 with the Ottawa Folk Festival so overall it was a really cool & exciting time for Me!:}}}}}}}
