Glad you liked the Gran stories--you know as well as I do, the ones about Granny Corrigan are all true. yes, she would have loved this show and bragged to all her relatives haha. I hope that I have half of her beautiful, strong Irish spirit--she lives on in us. thanks, Granny.

My April 1st story. When I was in high school one year April fools fell on a Monday so this worked great. I put on a pair of really thick glasses while sitting in my English class and opened a print book in front of me and pretended to be reading. My classmates asked if I was really reading the book and of course I told them I was. I had a braille book sitting in my lap under my jacket so they couldn't see it. I told them that over the weekend I had eye surgery and it went well and now I could read large print. They were like, 'oh wow, really? That's awesome!" It on for a good 5 minutes before I couldn't do it any longer and started laughing and the teacher called out, "April fools you guys, she was only kidding."
