CUPE 2424 strike, CUPE 3909 strike, Kinder Morgan pipeline
On this weeks show we'll be looking at two recent strikes. We'll look at the successful strike by local CUPE 2424, and the ongoing efforts by governments and employers to attack worker's pensions. We'll also be talking with Lina Nasr Bargaining Team Spokesperson for CUPE 3903 about that strike and #ReclaimYorkU.
We'll also focus on the recent ultimatum by Kinder Morgan that it has suspended spending on the KM pipeline and requires "clarity" on the project by May 31. We'll be interviewing Emma Buchanan one of the organizers of today's Stop Kinder Morgan Solidarity Action Ottawa, a teach-in and demonstration in solidarity with efforts to stop the pipeline
