The Sundance Film Festival is one of the largest and best known independent film festivals in North America. The annual festival is a showcase for new work from American and international independent filmmakers.
Gerry Schmitz serves on the selection committee of Ottawa's One World Film Festival and was at the Sundance Festival in Utah in January scouting this years film crop. Gerry highlights some of the exceptional documentary films he viewed at Sundance this year, some of which we'll likely be able to see in Ottawa at the One World Festival or other venues.
