Dj Ducats started out on a show called The Flava Zone featuring The Blunted Dummies in 1995. (Un)fortunately it met it's demise in 1996 and was taken over by a show called Peaceful Journey. Ducats joined Peaceful Journey in 1998. Both shows were in the 12am-2am time slot on Saturday morning (Friday night), but in the summer of 1999 Peaceful Journey was granted the 8-10pm Friday evening time slot. This is the first prime time episode and first prime time hip-hop show in Ottawa.
