Punk! Missus Beastly! Sun City Girls! Embryo/NoNeck collaboration! Residents' 'God in 3 Persons'... in it's Entirety!!
The show began to take shape with a challenge - my description includes the term 'Punk', and was told I should actually play some... so I did. The idea was to work towards doing a grand final feature - the entire 'God in 3 Persons' CD by the Residents. So... how to get from Punk to The Residents (who could be said to have a genre all of their own) by gradual steps? Well, go from post-punk, thru prog to jazz/funk to acoustic weirdness (The Sun City Girls' Final CD, another band who can be said to have forged their own genre, too!), a little Krautrock, then... voila, we're ripe for the Residents! The Nightwatch satisfies once again!
