I came into the station with high spirits - I have the privelige of debuting the first release on a new Ottawa Label (613 Records, A. James Brummel, owner, prop.), a compilation called 'Out of Ottawa'. Alas, a rogue thunderstorm foiled plans for a wider audience by knocking out our transmitter... so we were on internet only. Oh, well, such is life at CKCU! After that, we once again delve the weirdness, hovering over a 2xCD 2004 offering from RIO/fusion band from Chile called Akineton Retard, and classic unsing RIO band from the late-70's Askak Maboul. We finish with a look at Spanish flameco/eastern-influence/Jazz/zeuh band, RASA. Normally I would not stream music from anywhere... but when all else fails, this will do! Satisfying show, despite the lack of FM signal!
