| Formed in 2005 in Denver, CO, this is Action Friend's 3rd release, their 1st n Chant Rec's. Action Friend are now based in LA, and original members Jeremy McLean and Paul Alexander have initiated John Schuller (Master Musicians of Bukkake, Earth, Asva, The Youngs) and Mark G. Thornton (God Of Shamisen) into the fold. ‘bon•ho•mie,’ is a genre-hopping romp, from Super-heaviness to avante-garde to downhome rock. |

| Now in the jazz vein, we hit the more experimental side to finish up the Nightwatch - a Canadian solo player and something new on Chant, XOL. XOL is a quartet of veteran improvisers on the vibrant European free music scene, with Guy Bettini on cornet, trumpet and fluegelhorn, Harri Sjöström on soprano sax, Luca Pissavini on bass and Francesco Miccolis on drums and percussion. XOL has toured extensively with the legendary Peter Brötzmann, and members have worked with other luminaries including Derek Bailey, Cecil Taylor, Gerry Hemingway and Tiger Okoshi. |
