As usual, Sunday started with me not knowing what to play, other than the new Good2Go LP, snagged at the CD release party the day before. Before long, an enthusiastic communique from a punk friend cemented the hard edge of the beginning of the show, and a chance acquaintance at an Xmas party on Friday inspired the Roy Harper ending. As a transition to acoustic music, we travelled through some jam and prog tune-age, including some Mothers of Invention (Frank Zappa R.I.P. - this is the 17th anniversary of his death). There you have it - another Nightwatch was born! Now, what to play on the Sunday Night Mind Melt next week...?
