| Even though we've hit the high end of prog, we're going back to the jazz-influence to finish with the one-and-only LP by French band 'Plat du Jour' from '77 - one reviewer writes: "... a looser and less fussy version of mid-1970s King Crimson with influences from Zeuhl, Canterbury, and jazz fusion..." - they fail to mention the vocalist's similarity to VDGG's Peter Hammill/Offenbach's Gerry Boulet (gravelly, but I like it). Fun. |
