Today, the show features some great music including an amazing 16 minute track by Boingo (Oingo Boingo, Danny Elfman's non-soundtrack music project). Sadly, it also features some real turkeys... these folks definitely tried, but it was too little too late (or something like that). I guess those are good to chalk up to "lessons learned"...

I think you're right on the nose re: Black Cherry. You can hear that it COULD be good. They have a very retro sound, with a good producer and sound mixer/ engineer - they would probab;y be OK, albeit a couple decades late.

I got a call and I missed most of the Tom Lehrer. :( And I am mostly a Tom Lehrer virgin as it is. Oh well. ROFL this song about Ottawa is HILARIOUS!
