Keeping it chill with a spotlight on the Sparklejets to keep you focused

Tried to keep things chill on this, the first Dollar Bin show of 2012... but never boring. I played some tracks from the "In Between Dances" compilation put together to raise awareness of breast cancer issues, and I had seen that the movie "Pink Ribbons, Inc." (about corporate profiteering on the back of the movement) was playing at the Bytowne Cinema from February 17th to 23rd and that triggered a rant about how people need to be activist when they support charities and such. I mentioned Stephen Lewis' efforts to get developed nations to contribute 0.7% of their GDP to international aid (which they agree to, and failed to deliver on in turn). I promised to post a link and here it is: http://arts.nationalpost.com/2011/05/03/alicia-keys-sits-down-with-stephen-lewis-and-angelique-kidjo/
