The Passionate Friar
Wednesday January 18th, 2017 with Phelonius Friar
Interview with Dr. Cindy Stelmackowich on the history of Canadian women in science, engineering, technology, and mathematics (STEM).

This semester, Dr. Stelmackowich is teaching a 4th year Women's and Gender Studies special topic class entitled "Representations of Women’s Scientific Contributions". I talk to her about the class itself, some of the amazing people students will be meeting and places they will be visiting. In addition to her academic work, she is an accomplished and innovative artist and we will be talking about her unique style as well.

Sorry I missed your show today, I am very busy at work and just can't listen in. I am listening right now though "On Demand" and loving it. Dr. Stelmackowich is super interesting and her choice of music of wonderful. Especially liked the first choice. You always have such interesting, articulate, smart, guests. Guess that'll happen at a University. ;)
