The Snowflakes are Dancing got 4 Grammy award nominations, and the first Grammy nomination for someone from Japan.

Not only that, but he had a lot of problems getting it in to Japan...the customs agents didn't believe that it was a musical instrument! So it sat in customs hell until he was able to prove that it was an instrument!

Yeah... the ending was very Tomita-like which is why I went there. It's otherwise pretty darned weird ;). Needless to say I love it (and its weirdness)!
