It's OK, we are a stronger family because of it. I was lucky to have family and friends who supported me and that's why I am where I am today. I am so grateful.

As someone who is mostly able-bodied (at least temporarily), it is certainly a topic that can be tricky for me to talk about, but there are so many aspects of it that I have to live either personally (directly) or through others in my life, that it is a very important subject for me. I think it also gets at the heart of where our societies are failing to provide and, as such, needs discussion and ultimately action. For me, it's all baby steps, but I hope it's at least better than sitting on my duff and not moving at all.
