Even though my exams ended last Friday, I went straight into a full time 3 week contract on Monday helping to disassemble the CRIPT particle detector/cosmic ray (muon) passive tomography machine at Carleton that I have worked on for the past three and a half years (part time as a full-time undergraduate here). It will be shipped to the AECL facility at Chalk River where it will start its next phase of operation to determine its suitability to assist with nuclear nonproliferation verification and enforcement, and the characterization of nuclear waste storage containers (it can look inside them and figure out what's there without having to open them up and measure anything chemically).
