The first show in the new timeslot!
We've moved! Please come join me in the new time slot for The Dollar Bin. Everything I play, I have purchased for $3 or less in a retail store (mostly by artists I've never heard of before)... and that's the only rule! I sift through them to find the gems in the rough (or the priceless jewels that were somehow missed) and bring them to you for your appraisal. If you enjoy variety from week to week, I play hardcore to folk, jazz to blues, metal to j/k-pop, ambient to noise, from high falutin' to gutter trash, profound to moronic, fast and slow, from here and from there... sometimes themed, sometimes crossing huge spectrums in each show... never the same thing twice, and all on a tight budget!
And, unexpectedly, I had my first giveaway today! Two tickets to see the movie West Side Story at the NAC with the NAC Orchestra playing the soundtrack live! Congrats to Laksmi :).
