Hot Jazz started in the night clubs in Paris, pioneered by Django Reinhardt. The distinct Manouche style he invented has inspired musicians the world over in the decades since he first blended romani style and jazz rythyms.
This afternoon we will listen to groups inspired by those hot jazz stylings, as well as groups actively recording in Europe, keeping the Swing in our dance steps.
