The contemporary swing musician scene is a fairly tight knit community, for all that it is spread all around the world, with musicians from everywhere often working together with each other at gigs, festivals and in impromptu gatherings.
Today's four groups are all a single "Bacon Number" away from each other, whether from North Carolina, Pittsburgh, or New York, these musicians are all wonderful members of the broader Swing Jazz community, and we celebrate them today.
