We'll showcase a brand-new release by singer Peter Campbell, celebrating the immortal Shirley Horn. If you don't necessarily know Peter Campbell, you're not alone, but the participating musicians are a who's who: pianist Mark Kieswetter; guitarist Reg Schwager; bassist Ross MacIntyre and trumpeter Kevin Turcotte. We'll also feature the Milk Crate Bandits, a Vancouver-based project that is channeling New Orleans-style swing music beautifully. Another eclectic 90 minutes of great Canadian jazz.
