We'll start the program today with some great West Coast jazz courtesy of the Alan Matheson Nonet. Intrada is a CD that was recorded over an 8 year time span but the music does not suffer any time delay at all. Then we'll move on to a couple of Mosaic releases first featuring trumpeter Charles Tolliver's big band recorded in 1970. The second Mosaic release combines Clifford Brown with Max Roach for dates recorded in 1954/55. Kind of a trumpet day today.
