We'll start today with a set of tunes from the 2011 Juno nominated CD from guitarist Alex Goodman’s Quintet, Bridges. That will be followed by a set from trombonist Bob McChesney’s new CD Chez Sez and a final set of music by the Duke Ellington band recorded in 1951 and while largely ignored, has been claimed to be one of the best jazz recordings ever.
