I’ll start the program with the second installment of “Where to Listen to Jazz While You Wine and Dine!” This series features "visits" to area restaurants that showcase live jazz. My guest is local artist Ian Clyne who'll talk about his career and where he performs around Ottawa-Gatineau. Following the interview, I'll treat you to some terrific tracks from the new CDs I purchased at this year's TD Ottawa Jazz Festival. We're at an event with friends, so will unfortunately miss the live version, but will look forward to catching the recorded one later. Great representation from this year's Ottawa Jazz Festival concerts that were top pix for us! And I'm really interested in the second instalment of dining & jazz in Ottawa.

Back to the first John W :) -- enjoying this instalment online, as we catchup on a rainy afternoon, and reprise this year's Ottawa Jazz Festival with you. We didn't buy as many CDs as we used to this year, and we found it interesting catching the recorded tracks of some if the performers we heard live, e.g., Anat Fort, but with her band (vs. solo).
