Please join me for a swingin’ 90 minutes of jazz. On today’s show, I’ll also be presenting “Where to Listen to Jazz While You Wine and Dine!” This is the first in a series of "visits" to area restaurants that feature live jazz. My guest for this inaugural segment is Gina Vacchio, general manager of Zolas Restaurant in Bell’s Corners. Zolas has been presenting live music for a long time. Over the last year, Gina has made a serious commitment to presenting mostly jazz programming. Zolas was just recognized in the OttawaJazzScene.ca Jazz Favourites Poll as second favourite jazz venue in the Ottawa area; bravo!! And in case you didn't know, Swing Is In the Air is the runner-up in the radio show category right behind another CKCU-FM show! If I run out of time, any tracks listed here will be played at a future program.
