For this edition of Swing Is In the Air I'll be offering songs with an Ottawa connection. The featured tracks are from CDs by Ottawa area vocalists Rebecca Noelle and Nicole Ratte as well as by Renee Yoxon. Renee is originally from Ottawa and now based in Montreal. I've invited each singer to identify some of the jazz musicians who've influenced them and I'll play tunes by a selection of those artists as well.
P.S. There should be accents on some of the names, it's true, but I haven't figured out how to insert those characters. I'll fix that for next time!
