This weeks host Ralph Hopper, will begin with a couple of tunes by the Rob McConnell Tentet from the 2003 CD 'Music Of The Twenties'. The feature will be on Shorty Rogers, known for his brilliance as a composer, arrangers and musician [trumpet and flugelhorn] from the West Coast Jazz world and we'll be hearing a number of tunes by his groups mostly from the 1950's.
