Greetings all!!! Hey Rob, when I was in Jamaica I listened to Jamaican Radio all day and more than 1/2 of all the music had that same "mic in front of a speaker" sound haha. And I loved every minute of it, In fact, when I got home and put my reggae vinyl on it no longer sounded authentic hahaha.....Your Ethiopians sounded awesome, man!!!!!!! Thanks for the first hour of today's show!!! What a glorious unexpected treat for our Sunday. Just the way we like it, eh mon ami Bobby?!

My daffodils are up. all the aforementioned plants love the cool temps, and are very hardy to sub zero. My daffs were just starting to open when they got buried in a foot of snow at my place in that recent storm. Did not bug them at all.

Rob: in other words, private pot growing is illegal in Québec, even for medicinal purposes, without a license from Health Canada. I had a look on the site (it asks for pers. data, so I spared you), and it seems straightforward to at least apply for such a license. No fee is actually mentioned. Perhaps it's a matter of hoops-jumping...

GGA: I have southern exposure out front, and a huge cedar hedge on the east side. My daffs actually kept on growing through that snow you mentioned! I was amazed, that didn't faze them at all. They were open two days later.

The trick is quality seeds which are safe in the ground. You do not want to transplant young plants this early. That is a death sentence. Plant your seeds early; just google the kinds that like to plant as soon as you can go an inch deep with your fingers. Sl says the Garden Gnome!

At risk of exploding chatter... Just wanted to circle back on comments at the top of shoooooow. Some of my favourite vinyls would certainly get an audiophile rating of between ghastly and absolutely horrifying. BUT some priceless!! It is the music that counts. Some are bootlegs that will never be seen again, ever. Others are things that have been beaten to death and on crappy gear under danger-pay conditions. For example leaping to mind, ORIGINAL White Album, bought at Sam's in T.O. on day (early morning lineup) of release -- about number 2 or 3 in the city, therefore Canada. -- priceless. And several reggae dj mixes. Punk era boots, etc, I DO like very good audio. But some things are tooooo priceless to get a pickle in yer buttox about "not 24 bit" stuff. My 0.02.
