Exotic and Sublime

A plethora of weird and wonderful world music from two amazing sources. Host Rob Bitschofsky looks at a bundle of obscure but delightful 45s from The Exotica Project and liberally plunders from the back catalog of the fantastic Sublime Frequencies label. We begin with some selections from The Exotica Project, a beautifully curated labour of love website that gathers 100 singles of lesser-known artists mining the exotica groove. Check it out at www.exoticaproject.com

Wow, exotica at it's best! Been in the car (shopping with my wife)and was impressed by the wonderful music! (my wife claimed it was "erotica" but I clued her in. Great show Rob.

Thanks, Bill. Some of that exotica was indeed pretty erotic, though, so you're wife is not that far off. Especially that song In My Black Lace. Hot stuff!
