The thing is, we must not limit ourselves to sounds from this island only. And this, Sun Ra, Don Cherry ans Ornette Coleman understood well.

AKA Robert. Indeed. "The Earth is the only world known so far to harbor life." “Every one of us is, in the cosmic perspective, precious. If a human disagrees with you, let him live. In a hundred billion galaxies, you will not find another.” Knew i'd tripped over Carl earlier this week. 'The Vacant Lot'. Much space travel. Oddly, no Ra... https://cod.ckcufm.com/programs/645/66486.html

Yes indeed, this is the second visit from Carl this week and the first message on Vacant Lot was wrapped within wonderful music of the universe, as well. AKA Robert delivers fine philosophy and reflection for mere mortals such as myself. But a mortal with very hungry ears , I am indeed !

This is an absolutely briliant show Alka! All kidding aside, from the far out sounds of the cosmos, to the angelic re-entry of Earth's skies with Philip Glass, through to the spiritual gateway of India and the heartbeat of Mother Earth, in Africa... Truly wonderful show! And sharing it with my brothers and sisters! You make my day. And yes, PeterB, Peace. I watch the war all day. And pray for peace all day and all night, in this Chaos we call Earth. Cosmos being the antonym of Chaos, we long to reach it As a Rasta (Yes, I!) I long to leave babylon and enter the gates of Zion! "Until the color of a man's skin is of no more significance then the color of a his eyes, there is war". - Emperor Haile Selassie I And good God almighty, it looks like they are going for the color of the eyes...

Nostalgia moment.................Grazing In The Grass still gives me shivers Every time I play it or hear it anywhere. It remains in my Top 100 compositions of all time!. It just captures a feeling deep in my soul. It probably inspired my love of gardening too . So a very special Thank You,, Alka for the live version which I have somehow missed all this time!
