We start off with one track off the glorious album by Toumani Diabates's Symmetric Orchestra, celebrating the life of the legendary kora player and composer, Toumani Diabate, who sadly passed away at the young age of 58 on July 19, 2024. Rest in Power, Toumani. A proper tribute will follow on an upcoming show. Then on to some great new releases, in particular some groovy jazzy sounds from South Africa.
