i lived in Tanzania for 6 years in the 80s when Dar es Salaam was a haven for musicians in exile from Zaire. The music scene was amazing and Radio Dar es Salaam had some fantastic playlists. That song Aliza Claire was very evocative of a style that was common then. I don't recognize the band's name. My favourite at the time was Orchestre Maquis de Zaire. It was kind of a cooperative. They had many musicians and not enough instruments.
