This recording is really a collection, presenting the 'best' from Ravi Shankar and Yehudi Menuhin's three West Meets East albums (originally released in 1967, 1968, and 1976). All compositions Ravi Shankar.

Far as I could tell, this wonderful recording has never been played in full on CKCU before, at least not since our database tracking of playlists began, way back when. We shall correct that issue today!

I bought a LP copy of the Shankar/Menuhin album about 25 years ago for a buck at a garage sale and still have it. It's a good album.
