From an original Cool Jazz ground breaker, to New Classical, to Indo-fusions, to Afrobeats!

All over the pan-galactic musical map today. Starting off with a cool-jazz classic, and odd variations. Winding through a new Steve Reich release. To new woman's' vocal raga/fusion sounds. To South America. Huge Afrobeats. Etc... Fasten your seatbelts. Please do hit us up on the Interactive Thingy (over there ==>). We'd love to hear from you!!
Starting off with a brain-teaser, on the classic Dave Brubeck "Take 5". The challenge is ON to see if you can count the many rhythms going on in the 2nd re-mix one here. ;^) And some other "puppy hears a new sound" stuff too.

Hi Darren. Glad you are listening, your interest, and presumably digging! I just announced the tracks in that last set. At 2:45, it would probably have been one of the Elza Soares pieces. Kinda wonderfully crusty female vocals. After the show gets posted, you could go back through via OnDemand. Usually within about half an hour or so after show end.
