Trio Da Kali is a power trio from the Mande groit tradition of southern Mali, consisting of: Hawa Kassé Mady Diabaté (vocalist, daughter of the legendary Kassé Mady Diabaté), Lassana Diabaté (master balafonist ), Bassekou Kouyaté (bass ngoni). Kronos Quartet is, well, Kronos Quartet. Master collaborators and interpreters. Say no more. |
