Really diggin' the new Anoushka Shankar / Land of Gold. No surprise there -- one of my most favouritest artists! Oddly, her own web site does not list it, nor tour dates for it -- seems to be pretty out of date. Is available through Deutsche Grammophon, iTunes etc. (About to go get.)

I believe so--except for a few very short breaks he was the mainstay and was quite responsible for bringing Reggae music to Ottawa audiences--been the soundtrack of my Saturday afternoon since I can remember. I think the show was different lengths--now on from 3:00 - 5:30 p.m.

Piano on track is quite possibly Anoushka herself. Though she seems to be touring with Tom Farmer. (http://www.indianfineartsacademy.org/concerts/concert/anoushka-shankar-land-of-gold/) Do not have CD / pamphlet in hand yet ... on its way ... Will check when it arrives.

Yep, it looks like Farmer is indeed playing all keyboards on the shows, but who knows if he was on the record. If it was actually played by Anoushka I will fall off of my chair.

Really enjoying this Tony Conrad. I only heard the first Constantinople piece, nice, but I would have expected more since hearing the Tabassian brothers with Ablaye Cissoko live at the Chamberfest in 2013. That was a terrific concert. I'll have to look at this album, it flew under my radar too.
