| The Sound Symposium is billed as an international celebration of Sound. It takes place every two years in St. John's and brings artists, musicians, scientists and others from around the globe to Newfoundland to collaborate with local artists. This year's schedule has just been announced and features music, workshops, lectures, dance, visual installations, tugboat symphonies, and even a complaints choir.
