Celebrating 20 years of hosting Music from the Glen

Good morning and welcome to another edition of Music from the Glen, I'm Colin Henein and I've been your host for over twenty years. A radio host is nothing without listeners. Thanks for all your support all these years. I wanted to celebrate this morning and it was VERY HARD to limit myself to a ninety minute show. But this broadcast takes a standard form for me, starting with the introspective and more traditional and wending its way to the higher-energy contemporary material. Everything on this show is my favourite track.

Congrats Colin. You're talking about contemporary music right now, so I thought I'd share with you about a performance happening in Ottawa on Saturday night (Sept. 27) at the Dominion. Ian Lynch of Lankum has put out some incredible and dark music under the name One Leg One Eye and he's going to be performing it here on Saturday. Folks can hear the music and hear Ian talk about it on The Guest List this Thursday at 5 p.m. here on CKCU. It's stunning stuff
