Hi folks, 2023 was a great year for new releases of traditional music. This week's program is a retrospective of the best albums we shared together for the first time last year. It was very difficult this year to fit in all the releases I wanted to feature and several good records were left behind. That made this year's choice of Gold Star Releases ⭐ and Honourable Mentions 👈 quite challenging. So these are my absolute top picks, but in my view all the albums below reflect the best traditional music of 2023.
