Fri Nov 28th: Community Dancing in Manotick: Circles, Squares & Contras! A family friendly evening of dancing, live music, homemade refreshments and laughter! Pippa Hall calls the dances to the music of the Ever Hopeful String Band (Bob Davidson and Arlene Probert on fiddles, Bruce Barton on tenor banjo and mandolin, and John Henderson on guitar). The dance begins with a 30-minute teaching session especially focusing on families & beginners, followed by dances that build on skills as the evening progresses.
